What I’m Riding . . . Rune Thursday

Today’s question comes from Claw & Order on behalf of a friend.  Check the comments section for the full question, but the gist is this:  a couple who started out as work friends decided to become friends with benefits.  He’s serious, she’s not so much.  She wants to know if this relationship is for the long haul or the short ride.  I will pose it this way to the Runes:  Is this a serious relationship that should be given a chance?  Friend of Claw & Order, your Rune is Wunjo, the Rune of Joy.  Yes, I remember this Rune well.  I got it last time I asked a question, but in reverse.  No joy for me.  So congratulations Friend of C&O; at least you will have joy.  The breakdown:

This Rune symbolizes a fruit-bearing branch (so make him wear condoms; just kidding).  A shift has occurred in your life and now it is time for you to reap the joy in your emotional well-being.  Submit to this joy as it has been long in coming.

So, it would seem to me that this relationship is good for her, and may have the promise of being for the long-term.  The translation also suggests to me that directly before this relationship she was in a bad one, and this one suits her better.  My mom always did say relationships work better when the man wants it more than the woman does.  So dear fellow Irish Friend of C&O, let this guy love you more than you do him 🙂  It’s working for you.
