What I’m Riding . . . Rune Thursday

Rune of Wholeness

Today’s question comes from Danielle, and it’s a rather broad one.  Simply, she wants to know how special she is.  I don’t know if the Runes can address that one; surely in their world everyone is special, everyone has a purpose or else you wouldn’t have been born.  So let me tweak it for her, and ask instead if she is currently living up to the reason why she was put here:  is she fulfilling her own unique specialness, or does she need to get it going.  Danielle, your Rune is Sowelu, the Rune of Wholeness.  Let’s see what we got:

This Rune stands as a symbol of the quest for Wholeness, which is the quest of all Mankind.  Drawing it means that what you are currently seeking for is, in essence, what you already are.  You may be feeling blocked, however, and lost from your life’s purpose.  Know that it is inside of you, the answers are within, but do not retreat so completely that you lose sight of external forces.  You cannot rely on the external right now, but they are there to remind you of what is important within.  Be true and steadfast in your journey, and the nature of your purpose will be revealed.

So, yes, Danielle, as I expected, the Runes do believe you are special, what you possess is a characteristic only you can share with others, go inside and nurture it and let it shine.

About whatimriding

Born and raised in Philly, I spent several years in Las Vegas, working at the House of Blues and writing about the city. I now reside in Tampa, where I continue to work on novels, scripts and short stories and tearfully await former Lightning forward Vincent Lecavalier's return to the bay area.
